Seamless From Every Angle: Key Media’s Full Truck Spray Paint & Wrap Project

Some fleet branding jobs call for more than vinyl alone. For this project, Key Media combined precision spray painting with seamless die-cut printing to give our clientele’s delivery truck a flawless, factory-finish brand identity, from bare panel to fully branded vehicle on the road.

What We Delivered

1. Truck Measurement & Panel Mapping Every panel of the truck box body was carefully measured and mapped out before any work began, ensuring the base colours and printed graphics would align perfectly across curves, corners, and panel joints.

2. Creative Adaptation The branding including the client’s logo, colour-blocked yellow-and-blue livery, service listings, and accreditation badges, was adapted precisely to the truck’s dimensions, with masking and layout planning to keep colour transitions crisp along every edge.

3. Precision Spray Painting Sections of the base livery were sprayed directly onto the vehicle body, using careful masking (as seen in our progress shots) to achieve a smooth, seamless colour block finish, the kind of clean curve and colour transition that vinyl alone can struggle to replicate on complex panel shapes.

4. Seamless Die-Cut Printing The detailed brand elements, logos, service text, certification marks, and mascot graphics, were produced as seamless die-cut prints, cut precisely to shape and applied without visible borders or panel seams breaking up the design.

5. Full Installation Our team installed the complete wrap across the truck body, roof, and cab, finishing with a mirror-smooth surface that reads as a single, continuous brand statement from any angle.

Why This Approach Matters

  • Spray paint delivers a finish vinyl can’t always match. For large, uninterrupted colour blocks on complex panel geometry, a sprayed base coat gives a cleaner, more durable result than vinyl alone.
  • Seamless die-cut printing keeps the design intact. Cutting graphics precisely to shape, rather than relying on panel-by-panel vinyl sheets, means logos, text, and icons read cleanly without visible seams or misalignment.
  • Precise measurement prevents costly rework. Mapping every panel before production ensures the final graphics fit exactly, panel gaps and all, the first time.
  • A fleet vehicle is a moving billboard. A truck this size, cleanly branded on every visible surface, delivers constant, high-visibility exposure wherever it travels.
  • Combining techniques gets the best of both. Spray paint for flawless base colour, die-cut print for crisp detail, together they produce a result neither method achieves alone.
